Loop Veterinary Hospital is not only a daily clinic for routine exams; it also is equipped to handle extreme cases of sickness and trauma. After some surgical procedures it is necessary to watch your pet for several hours after the surgery is done. Intensive care means that your animal companion has strict monitoring of vital signs, fluid intake and output; pain assessment is done regularly and given any medications needed to get your pet home to you as soon as possible. Dr. John and Dr. Angela Bentley directly supervise the care for our intensive care patients and are available in any type of sudden emergency that may occur while your pet is with our staff. Once your pet is determined to be well enough to leave intensive care, they are usually sent back home. Animals heal best when surrounded by their family in their own home.
