Loop Veterinary Hospital prides itself on taking great care of pet companions from the beginning and throughout their lives. We know that our pets are members of our families, and that life without them is difficult to imagine. In cases where further veterinary care will not bring any cure or prolong life significantly, our doctors recommend hospice care. Hospice care treats symptoms of illness and provides pain management to keep your pet as comfortable as possible. Hospice is a great alternative when you are not yet ready to say goodbye to your pet and would like more quality time with them.

Once you and your family are ready to say goodbye and it is time for your pet to pass, the compassionate doctors and staff at Loop Veterinary Hospital will treat both you and your beloved pet with dignity. A sedative is administered to keep your pet comfortable, and then medication is administered to bring your pet their final peace.

There are several options to memorialize your pet at Loop Veterinary Hospital. You can choose to take your pet home after the procedure to bury them at your home, or cremation services are available if you prefer to keep your companion’s ashes close to you.

Dr. John and Dr. Angela Bentley will be there for the life of your pet, and they will be there at the end as well. Call one of the caring team members at Loop Veterinary Hospital, and we will treat them as our own, regardless of their stage of life.
